Reds keen to keep Konate

LIVERPOOL remain eager to thrash out a new contract with Ibrahima Konate amid growing rumoured interest from Real Madrid.
Konate has entered the final 18 months of his current deal and revealed earlier this year he has been made a fresh offer by the Reds to extend an Anfield stay that began in the summer of 2021 when arriving from RB Leipzig for £36million.
The centre-back, though, intimated he was not close to an agreement with his focus instead on the remainder of the season.
