Mayor slams 'idiots' after buses halted

METRO Mayor Steve Rotheram has condemned “mindless idiots" who led to bus services being halted in one area of Merseyside on Tuesday night.

Bus firm Arriva confirmed they had to shut down three services earlier this week owing to what they described as antisocial behaviour.
The cancellations come after a series of dispersal zones were introduced by Merseyside Police in response to ongoing antisocial behaviour in Formby.
The F1, F2 and F5 services were cancelled on Tuesday evening owing to the disruption.
