MAN IS HELD AFTER ATTACK ON WOMAN

A WOMAN was followed by a stranger on a bike before being pushed to the ground.

Merseyside Police received a report of a sexual assault in Seaforth in the early hours of Sunday, September 21.

A woman in her 20s reported that she had been walking down Crosby Road South at around 5.45am when a man on a bike followed her.

The man placed his hand across her mouth and pushed her to the ground, before she screamed and the suspect ran off towards Belgrade Road.
