LIVERPOOL'S desperate first-half performance in the dreary 3-0 defeat at Manchester City on Sunday afternoon was bad enough. But there were two reasons to regret the second half at the Etihad that has now left two players walking a disciplinary tightrope.

- By IAN DOYLE Chief LFC Writer

Both Conor Bradley and Dominik Szoboszlai picked up their fourth Premier League bookings of the campaign and now stand just one yellow card away from having to serve a one-match suspension.

Players who accrue five bookings inside the opening 19 Premier League games are handed a one-match ban. The amnesty then changes to a two-match suspension for reaching 10 bookings inside 32 games, and a three-game ban for totalling 15 at any point in the campaign.
