TRAVELLING down to Chelsea on Saturday was an eyeopening experience.

I went to London on the train and it gave me the opportunity to speak to a lot of Everton supporters.

The belief they had in their side was clear and being able to witness the impact of recent results and performances on an away following that had endured a tough few years was refreshing.

It highlighted to me the progress that is being made this season.

Even the Chelsea fans I met before the game appeared to have a different view of Everton this time.
