Matthew McConaughey on the leather chair from Browsers

A MUM and son were over the moon when they discovered a vintage chair they had restored and sold had a starring role in a celebrity book tour.

Val Corfe and her son Mark own Browsers Emporium in Hooton and recently sold a red vintage wingback chair to Buildhollywood Limited Production.

The chair, which was sold for £525, would end up taking centre stage in actor Matthew McConaughey’s latest book tour.

Shop manager Sarah told the ECHO 86 year-old Val was particularly taken by the news and wants to get a “framed photograph” of Matthew McConaughey sitting in the chair for the shop.
