TRANMERE BOSS HOPING TO FIND CONSISTENCY OVER CHRISTMAS

- By LOUIS PARR

ANDY CROSBY says Tranmere can use the festive period to their advantage and find more consistency going into the second half of the season.

Rovers head into today’s clash with Fleetwood Town off the back of two defeats, but the 52-year-old remains optimistic despite their indifferent form.

He said: “We can’t feel sorry for ourselves. We've lost two games on the trotboth being self-inflicted.

“But we've now got four games in ten days and a lot of points to play for. You can go on a good run at this time of year and suddenly everything looks a little bit different.

“You can gain some momentum, confidence and consistency. But to go on a good run, you have to perform on a consistent basis, and we haven't managed to do that yet.

“So, we'll take responsibility, reflect and think about what we can do to make the second half of the season better than the first.”
