Fans set to show DISPLAY of unity

EVERTON supporters are being urged to get into their seats at Hill Dickinson Stadium at least 15 minutes early for what should be an extraordinary spectacle before the game with Arsenal.

Influential supporters group the 1878s - the organisation behind the displays that helped to make the final years at Goodison Park so memorable - are set to put on their first showcase at the club’s new ground.

Their project will involve 15,000 cards being held up to create an incredible welcome to the players when they emerge from the tunnel just before 8pm on Saturday night.

The display, which will take days to prepare, will need every supporter in the imposing south stand - including those in the south east and south west sections - to play their part. They will each arrive to a sheet on their seat.
