ROVERS BOSS SAYS THEY GOT WHAT THEY DESERVED IN DEFEAT

- By LOUIS PARR Sports Reporter

ANDY CROSBY says his side's 3-1 home defeat to Barrow was fully deserved, and the 52-year-old admitted he may have to look to the transfer market to solve Tranmere’s defensive woes.

Rovers were 3-0 down inside half an hour and failed to find a way back into the match despite Patrick Brough’s goal after the break.

It's now three defeats in four games for The Whites and Crosby insists his players must improve defensively.

He said: “We deserved everything we got today, and the reaction of the crowd was absolutely justified.

“As a manager, it's always my responsibility. But as a player, you have to go out and do your job. It’s change or be changed.

“You can only give so many opportunities to players who aren’t currently proving they're equipped to do their job.
