THE finals of the National Arena League (North West) provided plenty of excitement over the weekend.
In the Premier League at Blackpool, Halton put in a spirited performance with Sophie Barr claiming first place in the 100m freestyle and second place in the 100m butterfly.
There were wins for Anthony Wawrzyniak in the 50m breaststroke and Joshua Howard-Hughes in the 100m backstroke.
