£18m drug dealer made boxing video with stars

A £18.5m drug trafficker who had a semiautomatic pistol stashed in his house lived a double life as a boxing trainer who filmed with Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.

Michael McNally, 42, supplied huge quantities of heroin and cocaine in just a few months in early 2020 using the encrypted messaging nickname LankyPanda.

But McNally, from Bootle, is also a highly-regarded boxing trainer who has worked with some of Merseyside’s top ring talent at Kirkdale’s ABC Rotunda gym.

In an episode of The Overlap, the award-winning Sky podcast series, McNally can be seen putting pundits Carragher and Neville through their paces inside the gym.
