Weather frustrates Foxes in their quest for Division Two title

LEICESTERSHIRE'S quest to secure the Division Two title in the Rothesay County Championship suffered more frustration as day three, like day one, of their match against Kent was lost entirely to the weather.

Heavy overnight rain left several parts of the Uptonsteel County Grund playing area saturated and though the rain had stopped by midday, umpires Hassan Adnan and Simon Widdup decided there was no prospect of the surface drying enough to allow any play.
