VICTIM HAS 'LONG WAY TO GO' TO GET OVER ATTACK

THE victim of a rapist who threatened to post video of the attack online says she “has a long way to go” to get over the trauma.

Mihai Marian, pictured, befriended the woman online before they met at her Leicester home in October.

Police said the 43-year-old plied the victim with alcohol - and possibly more - before raping her.

Marian, of Moat Bank, in Bretby, Derbyshire, was identified by police after the victim reported the rape.

He denied the offences and claimed the sexual activity was consensual.

But last month, he was found guilty of rape and sexual assault following a trial.

Marian was also found guilty of assaulting another victim he had burnt with cigarettes.
