BREEN HOPES TO MAKE UP FOR HER 100M DISAPPOINTMENT GOLDEN YEAR: Olivia Breen won the T38 long jump final at the World Para Championships in London in 2017
(PAUL HARDING/PA)
The 29-year-old para athletics star was unable to advance through her T38 100m heat but now turns her attention to her favoured long jump event today.
Experienced Breen, a two-time Paralympic medallist at London 2012 and Tokyo 2020, grabbed global long jump gold back in London eight years ago and will be hoping to roll back the years on a fast-looking runway at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
The Loughborough University-based star is a two-time Commonwealth Games champion representing Team Wales and is being roared on by dad Michael, mum Helen and younger brother Jack here in the Indian capital.
