Dennis misses out on podium place in Mexico City E-Prix

JAKE Dennis finished fifth in the Hankook Mexico City E-Prix to lose his lead in the Formula E drivers’ standings.

Citroën Racing's Nick Cassidy made up 12 positions in a calculated, pitch-perfect drive to claim victory in only the French automotive giant's second race in the world championship.

Cassidy finished ahead of Edoardo Mortara (Mahindra Racing) and reigning champion Oliver Rowland (Nissan Formula E Team).

Taylor Barnard (DS Penske) had the strongest start, pressuring pole-sitter Sébastien Buemi (Envision Racing) into a mistake on the defensive at Turn 1.
