Delight as school's progress praised by inspectors

A HEAD teacher has told of his delight as progress at his school was commended by Ofsted.

Saint Martin's Catholic Voluntary Academy, in Stoke Golding, has been praised in its latest inspection, with a report published recently hailing the school for creating an environment where pupils achieve highly and thrive as individuals.

The inspection, which took place in June, found pupils "flourish in an environment where staff and pupils have high expectations of each other."

The report highlights strong academic results, excellent behaviour, and a wide range of opportunities beyond the classroom.
