Consent recommended for traveller camp plan

PROPOSAL TO ADD SIX PITCHES TO EXISTING SITE FOR FAMILY

PLANS have been submitted to increase the size of a gypsy and traveller site.

Owners of the site at Pinehollow Barn, in Stoke Lane, Higham on the Hill, have put forward an application to Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council to allow four static caravans and two touring caravans.

This would replace a permission granted in 2008, which allowed two caravans for a single family.

The applicant, Mr Price, is also planning to turn a brick barn into a day room as part of the application.
