Care Harry received 'NHS at its very best'

WHEN baby Harry became suddenly and critically unwell, his loved ones faced every family’s worst fear.

Born at 24 weeks, Harry had already overcome a long and difficult stay in neonatal intensive care.

But after a few months at home, his breathing worsened and mum, Eleanor, took him to hospital. He was transferred to Leicester Royal Infirmary for a closer investigation.

In the hours that followed, Harry's condition deteriorated quickly. He was admitted to the high-dependency unit and later went into respiratory arrest.

A tube was fitted to help him breathe and he was moved to the children’s intensive care unit.
