Bag of tools stolen from van

A LARGE bag filled with work tools and specialist equipment was stolen from a van parked in Leicester, and then found dumped nearby.

Police said the van was parked near Victoria Park when the thief managed to get into it.

Work tools and specialist smoke alarm testing equipment worth more than £1,500 were taken.
