HALIFAX is set to shut its branch in Leek town centre today.
It is one of nine outlets being closed acroos the country by the financial institution by the end of the week.
The closures are part of the bank’s ongoing drive to rebuild its services and meet changing banking trends. The Leek branch in Derby Street will open for the final time to customers today.
It comes as NatWest in Leek is also preparing to close for good on June 16.
