ST Filumena’s Catholic Primary School in Caverswall is celebrating a momentous achievement as one of its teaching staff, Jack Huson, has been named a 2025 Silver Winner in the prestigious Pearson National Teaching Awards.

This highly respected national accolade recognises the outstanding commitment and passion that Mr Huson brings to the classroom every day.
As a Silver Award recipient, he now goes forward to be considered for a coveted Gold Teaching Award, with national winners to be announced at a ceremony in November.
