Margaret Russell, secretary of CHEADLE ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY, updates us and highlights some pets who are looking for a new home...

A HUGE thank you to everyone who sent donations to help Picasso, the young black cat who had been involved in an RTA and sustained fractures to both her upper and lower jaws.
Following her surgery to repair the damage, she is doing really well and over the past few days has been able to lap some liquid food. We are hoping that later this week she will be able to go to her foster home to recover and then we will find her a forever home.
Phoebe the elderly black cat who is hyperthyroid remains at Lime Trees Veterinary Hospital, Meir Park and once her condition has stabilised she will be having a dental as her teeth are in a shocking state. Once recovered we are hoping she will be able to go to a foster home.
Thomas is a really handsome black and white cat who came to us having been found with a shocking matted coat which had to be shaved off. He loves to be given attention and will enjoy living with a family who will love him to bits.
