Vets practice planned for mill and pet shop site

A new vets practice could open on the site of a Leyland pet shop, as spaces at practices in the area dry up.

The application to South Ribble Borough Council by the Bamford Pension Fund, is to convert part of the ground floor of Globe Mill in Midge Hall Lane, Midge Hall.

The application proposal relates only to part of the building consisting of a warehouse area and showroom together with an open canopy in the northwest of the building.

The proposed use is intended to complement and be supplementary to the primary operations on the site of manufacturing and selling animal feed.
