The internet is excellent if you deliberately choose how to use it

This week I have mainly been delighted by my garden bursting into colour with the essential combination of sunshine and rain.

I have been harvesting my best crop to make my first batch of nettle soup of the year. And having joined my first ever U3A event, Bugs for Beginners, I now know all there is to know about the life cycle of aphids.

I have also been reminded of why I love living in this part of the world.

I know I get fed up with the amount of summer rain we have sometimes, but usually we are then blessed with sunny evenings.
