Quad bikes theft leaves farmers struggling

Two quad bikes have been stolen from a Lancashire farm, leaving an elderly couple facing major difficulties caring for their animals.

Thieves broke into a secure container at a farmyard in Rimington, near Clitheroe, shortly after 2.30am on December 31. The quad bikes, which officers said were essential for the day-to-day running of the farm, were taken during the burglary.
