Preston ladies' defence of title begins in style

Preston Harriers' ladies prevailed at the first Mid Lancs Cross Country League race of the season, which took place in Kendal.
Defending their Division One title, a squad of 10 Preston ladies took to the line on this 6.3k undulating course.
First home for Harriers was Sarah Yates (Under-20) who finished fourth overall and who, with a successful background of track and road racing this year, showed her versatility.
Yates was followed by Nicola Sutton (F40), finishing first in this new age category, and Jamie Robinson (F35), second in her age category.
