Blaise Tapp's view on life in the UK today
-
As a keen armchair sports fan, 2026 has been a year I have been particularly looking forward to for some time.
Granted, the majority of this unhealthy enthusiasm is down to this summer's football World Cup, which, without question, will dominate my life for a month and will, almost certainly lead to accusations of me being a telly dictator, due to me not letting anyone else get a lookin.
If it is on the box, I will watch almost any contest, although I haven't taken much interest in sports that take place on snow or ice.....until now that is.
