Conspiracy theories and false claims about vaccines must be "drowned out" if children are to be protected from serious illness, a health minister has warned.

Health minister Stephen Kinnock said there had been a decade-long decline in childhood vaccination rates, which had been made worse by "vaccine hesitancy" following the Covid pandemic. He urged parents to ignore misinformation and ensure their children are immunised, calling it "common sense" to do so.
