Harriers are out in front at second Inter Club race

Preston Harriers' men's and ladies' teams finished in the top spots at the Lytham Inter Club race.

Some 339 runners were in attendance to represent the seven competing clubs, including 73 from Harriers in the second race in the 2025 series.

While runners on the Fylde Coast can often expect to be blasted with high winds and possibly rain, conditions could hardly have been better for a race: a light breeze, hardly a cloud in the sky, and late enough in the evening for temperatures to be comfortably cool.
