Hall theatre season leading charmed life with Shakespeare's dark tragedy

Touring company's feast of words will highlight magnificence of language and magnetism of drama

Macbeth's famous words will ring round the theatre lawn at Lytham Hall tomorrow evening and have drawn a full-house of 500 for the first play of the season.

The Duke's Theatre Company from Brighton will be making their Lytham Hall debut with one of Shakespeare's most gripping dramas, only previously seen twice in 16 years of productions at the Hall.

Julian Wilde, manager of the outdoor theatre at Lytham Hall, is looking forward the magnetism of the drama and magnificence of the language which provides such a feast of words for theatregoers.
