Finding a balance as Autumn arrives with sunshine and rituals

Happy autumn. This week I have mainly been delighted by the change in weather. I was fed up of the heavy rain by Saturday, especially as Bruce refused to set a paw outside then spent the day being yampy.

So, waking up to sunshine on Sunday completely changed my mood. I was reminded that just when you think it's all over, the sun comes out and you get one more chance to mow the lawn and snooze in the hammock.

Days of clear frosty mornings, warm afternoons, and cold nights are my favourite, it’s the best of everything, time outdoors followed by nights in snuggly blankets.

I had been feeling sad thinking we were missing out on the beauty of Autumn, and I now understand my need to transition into the change of seasons.
