Festival team vows refunds on way after deadline passes

Organisers of a music festival have moved to try to reassure annoyed customers after the 28 day window to process refunds passed with many still waiting for money.

Preston Live was held in Wharles last month with a headline set from Ella Henderson but that was after the event was cut from three days to one due to 'circumstances beyond the organisers' control.

This meant anyone who had bought day tickets for the Friday or Sunday of the festival, or a weekend ticket, was eligible for a refund.

But after organisers said refunds would be processed within 28 days of the change, which was announced on July 4, customers are still waiting for money.
