A crafty move sees video game become big screen adventure

Lancashire Evening Post

|

June 30, 2025

Four misfits are suddenly pulled through a mysterious portal into a bizarre cubic wonderland that thrives on imagination - in the film based on the building-blocks video game.

Former arcade game world champion Garrett "The Garbage Man" Garrison, Jason Momoa, buys the contents of a storage unit and unknowingly acquires the Orb of Dominance.

A young boy named Henry, who has recently moved to Chuglass, Idaho, with his older sister Natalie, unwittingly activates the Orb and is sucked through a portal with Natalie, Garrett and sassy real estate agent Dawn.
