Stanger crosses divide for next chapter

The 24-year-old New Zealand youth international started all but one league game for the Honest Men last season as they finished third in the Championship and pens a two-year deal at Kilmarnock.

He made 80 appearances and found the net five times during his two year stint at Somerset Park before electing to leave in the summer.

The towering centre-back has previous top flight experience, albeit limited, from his time as a youngster with Hamilton Accies.

His arrival provides much-needed support in the centre of defence with Killie having seen Stuart Findlay and last season's Player of the Year Joe Wright depart during the summer.
