It's been six years since legendary games director Hideo Kojima released Death Stranding, billed at the time as 'a completely new type of action game.

At the time, it was certainly one of the oddest mainstream games I'd ever encountered-but its arrival just months before the first Covid lockdowns, gave me plenty of time to grow quite fond of it.
