A77 closures planned

Motorists in Ayrshire are being warned to expect disruption as a series of closures have been planned on the A77 at the end of June.
Amey, the trunk road operator, will be carrying out"essential carriageway patching" of the road near the Bellfield Interchange in Kilmarnock on Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 2.
Overnight closures are planned on both nights from 8pm to 6am to allow for the works to be carried out with a 14-mile diversion in place.
Southbound traffic will be diverted via the A71 and the A78 from the Bellfield Interchange to rejoin the A77 at the Dutchhouse Roundabout.
