|May 05, 2025
Hotpack, a UAE-based leader in sustainable food packaging, is set to invest $100 million in a new manufacturing and distribution facility in Edison, New Jersey, marking its first production base in North America.
Announced during a visit by New Jersey governor Phil Murphy to Dubai, the 70,000-square-foot facility is expected to begin operations in June 2025 and create 200 jobs over five years. The state-of-the-art plant will produce customised plastic and paper packaging, including cups, containers, and clamshells, tailored to the US market, Hotpack said.
This investment aligns with Hotpack’s 2030 Vision for global expansion, enhancing its ability to serve clients efficiently while strengthening supply chains. The facility will incorporate advanced packaging technology, emphasising sustainability and brand customisation to meet diverse industry needs.
