Police Attach Property of Drug Peddler

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday attached property worth 1 crore of a notorious drug peddler here, alleging it was acquired through the proceeds of illicit drug trafficking, officials said.
According to a statement issued to Kashmir Observer, the attached property attached under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act comprises a double-storey residential house built on 12 marlas of land, situated at Sultan Mohalla, Saidakadal, belonging to the accused Nisar Ahmad Bota, they said.
