KPDCL Lineman Injured in Budgam

BUDGAM: A power lineman was seriously injured after receiving an electric shock while carrying out repair work on an electricity transmission line in Batapora Kanihama area of Magam in central Kashmir's Budgam district on Saturday.

Officials said the injured lineman has been identified as Bashir Ahmad Dar. The incident occurred while repair work was underway to restore the disrupted power supply in the area. Dar sustained a severe electric shock and collapsed at the site, following which he was rushed to Sub District Hospital Magam for immediate medical assistance.
