On July 27, the Convocation Complex of Kashmir University will come alive with stories of old classrooms, lifelong friendships, and the many journeys that began on that campus. This is no ordinary reunion.

The Mega Alumni Meet 2025 will bring together some of the most accomplished names in the country, including the Chief Justice of India, who will serve as the Chief Guest. He will be joined by other notable figures: Supreme Court judges, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, and the Union Cabinet Minister for Minority Affairs.

For those of us who once walked the same corridors, this moment feels personal.

I graduated from this university. Like many, I carry a strong sense of pride in how far some of our classmates and seniors have travelled, and what they have carried from this place.
