KEMI Badenoch is making no impression on voters despite leading the Tories for nearly a year, according to a polling guru.
Sir John Curtice says she is unable to stop Nigel Farage's Reform UK “just eating into the party”.
He said: “The Tories are now barely more popular with those that voted Brexit than they are with the people who voted Remain, despite being the party that delivered Brexit.”
The politics professor and TV's best known election expert gave his damning verdict to us on the eve of the Conservative party conference, which starts today in Manchester.
Sir John said the Tory leader's conference speech was her chance to introduce herself to the public but any comeback before the May elections would be "very difficult".
