QUIZ MURPHY'S PRISON PALS

RAPIST Larry Murphy's former jail pals should be quizzed over Deirdre Jacob's killer, an ex-cold case detective insisted last night.

Alan Bailey, who believes the "Beast of Baltinglass" holds answers to the 1998 case, slated the DPP for not pressing charges.

Murphy, 56, is alleged to have told another inmate he "killed Deirdre with a hammer".
