Title favourites blow depleted Gaels away after wedding takes toll on Bonner's men

KILCOO progressed to a fifth Ulster final appearance in six campaigns with a resounding 11-point win over Erne Gaels at the Box-It Athletic Grounds.

The Fermanagh champions were without the services of centre forward Thomas McCaffrey for Saturday's game after he married his fiancée Eva Greene in Rome on Friday.

His brother Paul was also unavailable while captain Ryan Lyons flew back straight after the wedding to lead his side out against the perennial Down champions along with defender Barry McCann.

The aforementioned duo didn't show any ill-effects from their dash home from the Italian capital as their two-pointers helped keep Belleek in touch.
