Funeral held for river tragedy young dad Shea

THE family and friends of a young dad, whose body was recovered from a river in Co Cork over Christmas, have been left with “so many questions", his funeral heard yesterday.

Dad-of-one, Shea McCabe's body was recovered from the River Lee on St Stephen's Day after a nine-day search and rescue operation following reports that someone had entered the water near the Brian Boru Bridge in the early hours of Thursday, December 18.
