King’s reaction to his cancer update as Kate visits garden
KING Charles will be “deeply touched" by the remarkable outpouring of support following his TV cancer message, Buckingham Palace said last night.
The British monarch was hailed by doctors, charities and members of the public for his public broadcast urging people to get tested.
Meanwhile, Princess of Wales Kate, who was declared cancer-free this year, continued her support of those affected by the disease on a visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital’s Ever After Garden in Chelsea, West London, yesterday.
Members of the public can dedicate one of the garden's 30,000 illuminated roses to loved ones in support of its cancer charity.
