Vet's tips on winter coats for pooches

AS Ireland braces for a cold snap later this week, a vet has revealed the dog breeds that need to wear coats in order to stay warm in low temperatures.

Carlow Weather's Alan O'Reilly said the cold spell will move across the continent throughout the week and Ireland will feel the chill from Friday and into the weekend.

Now vet Dr Katrina Warren has clarified which breeds should try to keep warm when the mercury drops.
