Boss Parkinson knows there will be bumps along the way - but says his team have nothing to fear

WREXHAM boss Phil Parkinson insists there is no fear as his Hollywood-backed side step into the Championship against Southampton tomorrow.

Just four seasons ago the North Wales club would have been anticipating a game against Saints’ neighbours Eastleigh in the National League.

Now the Tinseltown dream which has enjoyed a record breaking three consecutive promotions knows no bounds with Parkinson stating: “What a great challenge for us. I don't want us to fear it, I really don't.”

Emboldened with eight summer signings and more to come, survival isn't a word being bandied about at the SToK Racecourse.

The Championship might be a killing field for managers - 18 perished last season - but Parkinson is up for the challenge.
