A RENOWNED west Cork hotel took top gong at the prestigious World Travel Awards event in Sardinia last night.

At the glittering gala on the Italian island, Inchydoney Island Lodge & Spa was recognised as a firm favourite among European travel experts and customers.

It was named Ireland's leading hotel for 2025 - a well-deserved achievement for the family-run business, which has been excelling in the hospitality industry for decades.
