TikTok star's social media offline after immigration video

The Mayo comedian, 30 - who has become famous for his line “Follow me, I'm delicious” - became hugely popular over the past year and has even appeared on The Late Late Show.

Boasting around 1.7 million followers on TikTok, fans were left stunned after his social media accounts disappeared this week.

In a video before the account disappearances, Noone was discussing Conor McGregor’s recent visit to the White House, where the UFC fighter made controversial comments regarding Ireland and immigration.

Noone revealed he often gets nudged to weigh in on such matters but keeps quiet as it's impossible to do justice to such an important issue in 40-second TikTok clips.

But he also noted that “it doesn't surprise me in the least to see a lot of people agreeing with what he [McGregor] was saying”.

He added: “There absolutely is an immigration issue in Ireland.

“That doesn't mean that people feel like we shouldn't take the refugees that we're able to take. It doesn't mean that people feel like people shouldn't be able to come here for better opportunities.”
