Moroccan midfielder seizes big moment to spring latest surprise for Le Bris' underdogs

- BY JASON MELLOR

LAID-BACK Chemsdine Talbi reflected on his ‘zen-sational’ finish after taking centre stage in Sunderland's Stamford Bridge smash and grab.

The single-minded Morocco midfielder picked the perfect time to open his Black Cats account, sealing a stunning first win for approaching 12 years at a ground where they had conceded 11 goals in returning empty-handed from their three previous visits.

Just four years ago Sunderland similarly headed home from the southeast after a hard-fought 2-1 win.

But that was at Gillingham in League One, underlining the massive strides they have made in such a short space of time as they enjoy the view from the upper-reaches of the Premier League table.

Talbi, 20, kept his cool to run through and fire a stoppagetime winner into the bottom corner to spark wild scenes among the travelling support.
